WHY WE SCAN YOUR MY VACCINE PASS

Yesterday was "Freedom Day" in Auckland, 3 Dec 21 and I spent the entire day visiting client sites with my team doing various jobs. It was a brilliant chance on RED day one to see how this works in reality.
It made me even more determined than ever to insist that when we show up at your place we'll ask to scan your My Vaccine Pass.
If we can't we will not enter your site and you will not get our service on that day.
The vast majority of sites I visited yesterday were brilliant and everyone was onboard. What I like about this pass is there is no way to write an excuse on it! If my mother-in-law can manage to get hers, online, without help from a teenager or other technical assistant - ANYONE CAN!
WHY DO I INSIST ON SCANNING YOUR MY VACCINE PASS ?
Here's what RED means:
"Red will be used if there’s a need to protect both at-risk people and our health system from an unsustainable number of hospitalisations."
Here's what ORANGE means:
"At Orange, people can continue to do everyday activities. There are restrictions to limit the spread of the virus and protect vulnerable people. But you can go to work, school, gyms, church, restaurants, and many more places.
Most businesses can open with no restrictions on numbers if they choose to follow My Vaccine Pass requirements, and only allow people with My Vaccine Pass to enter."
We visit multiple sites every day. So when we turn up at your place, we want you to feel safe because you know that we've only been to places where we've scanned people's My Vaccine Pass.
We have team members who are vulnerable and who cannot afford to get COVID19.
We also do not want you to get it.
WE'LL FOLLOW OTHER GUIDANCE AS WELL
We'll wear masks.
We'll keep our distance as much as possible. This is actually pretty easy with our line of work.
We keep records of all contacts.

Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority. The Authority is an independent statutory officer appointed by the Governor General of New Zealand. Make sure the person you are talking to about security cameras is also licensed by the Authority. They must be able to show you their License ID Badge when they come on your premises or they're breaking the law!
